hi I have the entire series of Prison Break 1 on blank dvd however it was recorded as DivX and i dont have an DivX dvd player is there any free software to convert DivX to a normal Dvd??

Try converting a couple of the files with this, then burn the output to DVD.

Import the file(s) (AVI, WMV,MPEG, VOB)
Output (standard DVD file format) to a folder on the HDD.
Set 'Aspect' to 4:3 (if you have a regular tv)
Set 'Standard' to NTSC (if you live in North America)

when i convert a DivX file it converts to a VOB file, how do i get that to a dvd file?

Burn dvd with 'ImgBurn'

Run ImgBurn
Mode > 'Build'
Output > 'Device'
File > 'Browse for Folder', highlight on the 'VIDEO_TS' folder, > 'OK'
Click the green write button.
