i have copied a lot of cds, mp3s, vcd, svcd, also made my own hybrids.. but read this and try to give it a shot to the problem:

I have a lot of movie backed up in Maxell dvd-r, one day i had visitors at home, we rented a movie an wached nicely in my samsung s223 model ( IT EXIST... ) then we decided to wach a Burned one... AND IT DIDNT WORK! test another, and another and NO ONE worked. I start to STRESS test the laser Lens ( put 3 svcds, 3 vcds, 3 mp3 cds, 3 audio cds ) and all of them worked FAST and fine... no one knows WHY those backed ups who worked FINE, now dont work!

Also y tested in my PC and still Working Great!

I had a look to see if your player can handle playback of burned copies...it doesnt look good.

Samsung strikes again :-D

It probably wont play them as Herbsmans says. You could try and insert then eject, then insert again as this works with my mates Samsung. unfortunately, early Samsungs didnt and dot work well with DVD R
