is there anything to worry about as far as generic ram?i was going to build a new computer, and the ram that i want is 2 gigs for $60. i was wondering if there was anything to worry about. thanks

Depends really. Dont expect to be able to overclock very well. Also dont expect it too last too long. It will work at whatever speed its rated but dont expect any more!

Pretty much itl be no frils RAM

What kind of RAM are you looking for? As lecsiy said it will run fine at stock speeds, but overclocking wont work well. You should take that into consideration of you want to get the most power out of your system. Of course many people don't like to overclock, and if you don't then you're fine.

i dont really want to overclock, i just want it to last a year or two until i build a new computer.
