Your IMEI is still to short (14) there should be 15 digits. ;-)

The phone was hardlocked before you came here, due to someone entering to many bad codes. PLEASE READ
If the phone was new take it back to the shop and exchange it for a new one - on some minor technicality.

I am in the Uk too (Essex boy, LOL) If you did not try any codes and the phone is new someone obviously brought the phone tried to unlock it, failed, then returned it.
If you get a new phone I will unlock it for you within a few minutes.
