i bought Nero 7 ultra edition enhanced at best buy. when i try to burn a dvd on Nero vision i don't have an option of 'make a dvd'. can any one tell me why or can i change this. when i go to application Nero vision has ess. at the end of it, if that means anything.

What's the make and model of the drive?

Try doing a clean install of Nero - uninstall Nero - clean tool.
Reboot now run this clean tool also - registry checker & driver clean tool. Reboot.
Install Nero again. You can get the latest here - link.
