I have two clips, both in same format, that hang up during the transcoding process. Does not matter if they are included with other clips or by themselves. The clips will play fine, from the hard drive, but won't transcode. No error messages, just progess stops and the elapsed time continues to run.
Thanks

As a test, try converting with this.
If it still fails, then must be the clip.

Import the file(s) (AVI, WMV,MPEG, VOB)
Output (standard DVD file format) to a folder on the HDD.
Set 'Aspect' to 4:3 (if you have a regular tv)
Set 'Standard' to NTSC (if you live in North America)
