Nero Vision Smart3D Templates

Hi All,
Is it possible to lift 3D templates from an earlier nerovision version and instal it into the current version.
I'm running both Nero versions 7.5.1.1 and 7.10.1.0 on two diff partitions and as you can see, Nero 7.5.1.1 has a lot of 3d templates in 'smart3d' but subsequent versions only has 1 template (even after installing the template package from Nero), and i'm trying to work out how to lift other templates from nero7.5.1.1, like 'toy trucks' & 'wobbling screens', and instal them into the current Nero version.

Don't know why they are missing.
Did you try moving them from the folder?
Nero>Nero 7>Nero Vision>3D Animations>Menus>4_3

oh yeah, i tried the whole copying & pasting thing to no avail.
this is something that's been bugging me since the 1st update after version 7.5.1.1.

Have you changed your Video Card since installing the first Nero?
I just recieved an e-mail about this problem.
They said THIS link has the latest version of Nero and contains ALL 15 3D templates:
ftp://ftp3.use.nero.com/PUB/427bdaa9e8455539fdaba700e7536fb9/Nero-7.10.1.0_all_update.exe
It's a 328 MB Download.

Thanks but there's nothing on the link you provided but from what i can deduce from your reply, i need 'Nero-7.10.1.0_all_update.exe'.
I'm gonna download that version from nero and see how that goes.
And to answer your other question, no, i haven't changed my video card. I'm using the same HD, partitioned in two. Each partition with 2 different nero versions.

Problem solved. That link is now dead but i downloaded it from nero's site here
The full installer Nero-7.10.1.0_all_update.exe has all the missing templates.

Thank you SO MUCH, I have been struggling with this stupid problem all day. It is pretty stupid they would leave a feature like this out of the regular install. Thanks for your guys help and links, a life saver, wanted to kill the computer!

Wait a second ^ that post didn't solve my problems. After downloading I am still stuck with just cubes! Any other suggestions?

How big was the Nero file you downloaded? Was it about 350 MB?
Because the one I downloaded from Nero (which does, in fact, include all 15 templates when I installed it) is about that size. You can do what I did - ask them in customer support. They replied back to me within a couple of days with a download link that DOES have it all. Might try that approach. Worked for me. -Cheers-

I did the download from the link above today (I also wanted the templates) and my download was for 173 megs. The verbage for the link says 363 megs (or so) but when you finally get to the file, it's 173 megs in size.

Mine was 173 megs but it sayas it should be about 360! I don't get it, I have had the runaround with customer support and they said the full installer is the one on the page but I installed it and it does not have any other template than cubes.

Just got off the phone with customer support. They said the full installer is down from the webstie and not working properly. That is why every time you click for the full installer it goes to the regular one. They don't know when it will be back up so they said to keep on looking. Good luck- BTCS.

Well, I was wrong. The one I downloaded from Nero's FTP isn't 350MB. It's 328MB. And it works fine and dandy. No problems that I have experienced.
I'm downloading something else that's rather large right now. Afterwards, however, I can upload it to Rapidshare or elsewhere if anyone has an FTP to upload to if you would like BTCS.

Hey BTCS, that link says you are downloading Nero-7.10.1.0_all_update.exe, but it actually provides the download to Nero-7.10.1.0_eng_update_wch.exe. Do you think they are both the same?

hey ChuCC-
the man at customer support said that they placed the regular download under the full installer because it is not working. The one you download from the full installer is the same as the regualr installer. That is what I am trying to find online now, the 7.10.1.0_all_update.exe
Let you guys know if the download on the mirror website from Nero works OK.
