i have always used Azureus for downloading my torrents and never had any problem until my mother board crashed and had to get replaced. i re-install windows as some of the files were also corrupt. now no matter what i do i just cant seem to get Azureus to download even though everything is green. i am using talktalk broadband on windows xp windows firewall which has Azureus on its exception list. i am using a thompson speedtouch 330 usdl modem. can anyone help its doing my head in

I don't know when they started or if it's only certain areas or times but talktalk does throttle torrents: http://www.azureuswiki.com/index.php/Bad_ISPs#United_Kingdom Have you tried Protocol Encryption: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/395674 and a port over 50,000?

thanks for the help. worked a treat .only downloading at 50-60k/bs but at least it is actually downloading now
