any legal problems from using m3 simply?

hi! ive just had wireless broadband installed at home! was wondering if its possible to run into legal problems by playing backed up games like mario kart or star fox online?

They don't know the difference.

I did hear rumours that those using hacked pokemon or pokemon games with obivous cheats on were being kicked off or something, but that isn't because of the ROM, that's becuase they are cheaters.

I don't tend to go online much, i've been on star fox a few times with no problems. The only game I tend to use online is Mario Kart, but I use my original of that.
