UPGRADING TO OE FW? NEED HELP

Aight I figured I'd upgrade to 3.40 oe. But I download these apps, like XMB media player or sumthing and the folders are named like 1.50 and stuff like that. Can I still run this stuff on oe? If so please tell me how I'm a bit of a noob. NE help is greatly appreciated.

Wrong forum mate, this is the DS forum.

But yes 3.40 OE can play homebrew made for 1.50 so it will run, just just need to make sure you either copy the files to the GAME150 folder or set the kernal in recovery mode to 1.50 and copy them to GAME
