how annoying, can back up 5 movies perfect than the last 2 minutes of the 6th movie breaks up. ALLWAYS AT THE END OF THE MOVIE and is allover the place - I use RITEK discs, i have read a lot of the forum stuff and somthing i have noticed is that sometimes when dycrypting it will be a 98% then just finish? I dont no if I agree with doing nothing on the CP when ripping etc as I normally do stuff all the time. I have backed up about 100 perfect movies but about 20 of them are stuffed at the end it is so GOD DAM frustrating WHAT IS THE PROBLEM HELP ME IT IS DRIVING ME NUTS!!!!!!!

Its the media that cause problems at the end. Are you using Datasafe or unbranded Ritek?

Similar to what Oriphus was saying..... try decreasing the output size from your program; I know both DVD2One and DVD Shrink let you select the output size. I drop it by 20 MB, and when I burn I often get fluctuations on how much "free" space is left.

1. This is indeed a common problem which can be resolved by reducing the file size and not burning up to the edge of the disc.
2. Always use branded Ritek media disc's as these offen produce better quality backups ans let you fit more data/video on one 4.7GB DVD disc.

Follow these two simple measures and you will get no more pixilation towards the end og the DVD!

All true of course, but buying quality media will prevent the need for you to have to reduce the output. In fact, i sometimes increase the output for larger films. I can get 4490MB on a disc when pushed.
