I have no drag-to-disk or RW software installed (InCD, Easy Media Creator, etc), but no matter what program I use, burning dual layer DVDs freezes my PC. Windows just freezes and sometimes BSODs.
But here's the rub - burning single layers works fine. And when I burn a dual layer on Linux, it works perfectly.
Any ideas here? The drive is obviously fine as I can command line and software burn in Linux, no problem. But Windows freezes, every time.
Not sure on the model. WinXP and anything - DVDFab, Nero, CDBurnerXP Pro, etc. I took out the drive today and popped it in another windows PC I have and it worked fine.
