Nero 7 Unrecoverable read error (I've tried so many different things!) =(

Hi all, sorry for this to be my first post - but I am really frustrated. I have been trying to get this to work correctly for the past 2 days after work (way to spend my free 5 hours, right? Lol).
Anyway, I keep running into an unrecoverable read error, and I can't seem to fix it. I have tried using nero startsmart, nero burning rom, and dvd decrypter. For startsmart and burning rom, I am trying to use the DVD copy feature (I can't figure out how to rip an iso with nero...sorry I'm a newb =/). With DVD Decrypter, I run into the same problem though. At 82% with DVD decrypter and 85% with Nero 7 ultimate edition enhanced. Just can't seem to read the disc I guess.
I've tried ripping with dvd decrypter from both of my dvd drives (one reader and one burner) no luck. I have tried copying at maximum (16x) with nero, and 8x with nero. Same problem all around. Can anyone help? Oh, and just so everyone knows, I don't hink it is just because I have a bad disc because when I insert the disc I am trying to copy, it runs just fine. The disc I am trying to copy is a data dvd too by the way, it's not a movie.

Bannjio, welcome to ad!
I agree, it seems your drives are unable to read your disk. You can try cleaning the disk. First clean it with alcohol, wiping from the center outwards. Once dry, clean again with a window cleaner like Windex to remove any residue left by the alcohol. Again, wipe in straight lines, don't wipe in a circular motion (could leave scratches the laser could interpret as tracks). You might have to clean the disk a couple of times.
Also, DVD Decrypter is no longer being updated and cannot decypher the latest encryptions. Try DVDFab HD Decrypter, it's free. You can get it here: http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm
If you can get your hands on RIPIT4Me (no longer out there), it works in concert with DVD Decrypter and is still fairly good (I haven't had a problem yet) at decrypting disks.
