im using dvd shrink with dvd decryptor with ripit4me.... works with all movies so far... tried o do norbit with eddie murphy ...ripit4me said couldn't copy files which seem ok, suggest checking dvd for scratches.........never had a problem yet untill now..... any help would be good... thanx
can't help you with ripit4me as i don't use it however i do know that DVDFab HD Decrypter (free version) 3.1.4.0 has no issues with this movie (the region 2 PAL variety anyway)
i will give it ago.. never heard of hd decryptor... if you use the 3 programs i said i use it will ripsony arcoss, disney and any other movie..thanx 4 help i'll let you know... ps working on zone 4 aus.
It never hurts to have more programs but sometimes it pays to stay with the old standbuys !!!! I've used DvdShrink ,Dvd Decrypter , DVd Fab Decrypter, ripit4me ,-which i never could get to work right) and AnyDVD& ClobeDVD and Lately I pretty much am in the CloneDVD & anydvd camp ! They work ,They're fast and they upgrade the programs on a regular basis ! Something that most of the Free Programs Don't do anymore ! Yes having to pay for them is a Bummer when the free Programs work so well ! But I say it's money well spent Imho ! What I really Like is That Slysoft.com ( where you can get ANYDVD & CLONE DVD ) lets you try the Full Versions for free ( Albeit for 21 days ) so you can see if you like them or decide if you want them ! If you do get them get Both ! like Peanut Butter & Chocolate they work best together ! And the point of your original question which I deviated from They can copy Norbit with no problems ! I'd say the problem your haveing with norbit and RIPIT4ME is that RIPIT4 ME is no longer able to update since they shut it down.
like creaky said dvdfab hd decrypter will not have any problem with it.
i dont know about dvddecrypter i know it hasnt had any updates in a long long time but it still rips alot of newer stuff. might give it a try also.
my power source died.. i just got another ,,i wiil get movie during week and let you no which program worx best... clone dvd,, any dvd,,or dvd fab..thanx very much 4 all your help...dt69
got another copy of norbit.. ran it through my 3 programs i said and it worked...i spose it was scratched..... also used dvd fab and it is a very good program... done nobit , without a problem, and can do alot more...i think i will stick with dvd fab in the future........

Ripit4me is still a very solid program even though it wont be updated anymore (last release version 1.7.1 I believe). I still use this program with the newest of movies and unless the disk is scratched up or defective it works great, better then DVDfab HD for me because you have to pay to be able to do movie and menu only with DVDfab, you can't insert firstplay jump to menu command with DVDfab, and finally you have to run the ripped video through fixvts or voblanker when your done with dvdfab where as with ripit4me it is built into the program. Don't get rid of ripit4me just yet because you had an issue with one disk (Norbit which I used ripit4me on with no problems). While ripit4me will most likely become obsolete some day, present day youll typically only have problems with ripit4me if something is wrong with the disk.
