i have looked on google and it says sometyhing about a pokemart and you have to see a guy in a green shirt and he will give you the items needed. i have already caught giratina cresselia and reggiggas. do i need to do anything else to get them? any help would be appreciated. thank you

you can only officially get them through Nintendo sponsored events. you get some key item at that even by using mystery gift option in the title screen, then go to the pokemart to get that object by talking to the guy in the green shirt. so without hacking your game, you cannot get it as of yet.

a Nintendo sponsored event is one where they host like a tournament or some other thing like that, if you live in america, they rarely have these so youll have to resort to hacking it with a gameshark or action replay.

when you do this, do you have mystery gift enabled? if you do and you hacked the save, you got to go to a pokemart that has a blue roof and talk to the guy in green next to the cashier.

As Zendjian said, you can't actually get Darkrai or Arceus in Diamond as a stand alone without trading in from somewhere or hacking in, at least in the US from what I have read.
