Desktop deal..,is it good?

I'm getting a desktop PC from ibuypower.com. I need to know if it's a good deal. Here are the spec's:
--Thermaltake Armor Jr. Gaming Case w/420W Power Supply (I'm getting the power supply replaced with 600W one.)
--Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E6700 (2x 2.66GHz/4MB L2 Cache/1066FSB)
--Thermaltake MaxOrb CPU Cooling Fan System Kit(planning on doing some overclocking)
--Asus P5N32-E SLI nForce® 680i SLI Chipset w/7.1 Sound, Gb LAN, S-ATA Raid, USB 2.0, IEEE-1394 Dual PCI-E MB
--2048MB [1024MB X2] DDR2-800 PC6400 Memory Module (Mushkin Xtreme w/Heat Spreader)

--250 GB HARD DRIVE [Serial-ATA-II, 3Gb, 7200 RPM, 8M Cache]

It brings a keyboard, mouse 600W speakers, surge protector etc.
The price comes up to about 2 grand.
Please don't tell me to build it myself because I don't know how...plus, I live in a third world country so it would be really hard to get the individual parts here.
I would please like to know your opinion on the system itself, the website, and the deal

I chose to get a preformatted HDD, becuase I'll put my own. A relative of mine has a tweaked version of XP (did it himself)that I can get. I'm not sure if it's legal, but hey,I'm in a third world country. lol

Hmmm, it doesn't say. My other option instead of the nameless 600W is a 750 Watt -- Thermaltake Toughpower W0117RU Power Supply. Is that good?

Note my signature - it's the one I use! It's not the quietest unit in the world, but it's better than most, and a solidly made unit. I'd heartily recommend that over the other nameless (and probably shoddy) 600W unit.

Yes, i would recommend the Thermaltake PSU as well.. I just bought the modular 850W Thermaltake and i absolutely love it, it's a very well built and stable psu. As far as the fan goes, i find the fan to be very quiet. escalante, your rig looks pretty damn good to me, nice choices..

It seems like a good deal if you want to spend that much $$, i would recommend 2x 250 gb hdds so you could run a raid config without wasting 50gb. Raid will increase the hdd read and write speeds by about 30-40% (mine went from 45mb/s to about 60mb/s). Also it would be nice if you knew the timings of the ram. If you can find the brand and model check it out on www.newegg.com. Good DDR2-800 timings are 4 cas latency and 4-4-4-4-12 timings. Also they make DDR2-1033, which is great for core 2 duo's but i wouldnt worry about it. The speed difference isn't too much. I would say if you havent gotten it yet find all the parts on www.newegg.com and add them to the cart and see how much it costs.

I discussed the possibility of setting up RAID 0 with my business associate aka Dad. Sounds good, thanks for the info. I wasn't really aware of how significant it was. So I'll need to extra hardware for this? The research I did said that I can get a RAID controller or use the RAID feature in Win XP.
I didn't really understand the bit with the memory though.
I'll do the newegg comparison soon.

RAID is great, and you might not need extra hardware, most new motherboards have onboard raid 0, 1 and 0+1 support.
