okay i just bought a new vid card and when i install it nothing the monitor doesnt even turn on help please

Intel Pentium D 3.0ghz
Abit Socket 775 IP-95 Motherboard
2 gb Kingston ram
Western digital 160gb Hdd
Evga Geforce 7600gt 256mb Pci x
Ultra 400-Watt Power supply
Sound blaster audigy 3

no it dosent but thanks i returned the card to the store .and im gonna buy a new mobo and a sli setup . whats a good sli board

By the way, just so you know PCI x is not PCI express, it was a technology developed several years ago. PCI express is abbreviated PCIe.

AS for the SLI board, can I ask why? Most of the time it's better to go with one fast graphics card like an 8800GTS than use two slower cards in SLI.

i think i know its just i was sleepy when i posted the thread and i didnt want to change it later .and i tought 2 were better than 1
. in that case can my board support a card like this

2 7600s are better than 1 7600, but one 8800 is better than two 7600s and is the same price. Your current board should support an 8800 fine, but you will need to upgrade your power supply first. You should have done that for SLi as well.
