I have processed 2 movies that I should have processed together, but since I was'nt thinking, I have two seperate films with front ends. These will fit on a DVD9 I believe, but what could I do to be able to burn with Nero and still access either movie?
Start NeroVision > Make DVD > DVD Video > Add Video Files
Open the first DVD folder and select the relevant VOB files (generally VTS_01_1.VOB VTS_01_2.VOB etc)
When they are all in the compilation window, ensure that they are highlighted then press the 'Merge Titles' button (its the centre button of a group of three on the lower left of the window).
The VOB files will merge into one title and will become a menu choice at the menu creation step.
Repeat the process for the other DVD.
Proceed to burn.
Fantastic!, I knew there was a way Nero could handle this. At the very most, I could have gone back to the originals and started over but what a pain... BTW, I have Nero 4 Essentials, which is like version 7 or som'm I think, But found where I could perform this proceedure and worked like a charm. Thanks again attar...
Though, I must admit, that it is a 3.83gb file after the initial stand-alone set-up and then, after Nero gets done with converting all the VOB files into a merged file it ends up as a 5.5gb file. This only allows me to burn at the lowest quality setting so as to be able to fit both files on the DVD9...
This may be one of those errors that you just have to go back to the beginning and eat it on the process time...
In NeroVision after loading the files, select DVD-9 from the box on the lower right.
Save the output to the hard disk folder.
Run DVD Shrink, load the files from the folder.
Click 'Edit' > 'Preferences' > 'File I/O' and check the box 'Enable burning with Nero'.
Click 'Backup' and from the drop down menu, choose to burn with Nero.
