Hello

I'm an experienced Nero user who actually prefers Nero version 6
(although I have the newer version)

I have several PC's all with 16X DVD Burners

Can you tell me how I can increase the DVD write speed to at least 10 or 12 times?

I'm talking about the copy speed at which Nero writes from a 'SAVED Nero Image'

I know it's possible because I can write to 16X with my other PC

Currently when writing (from a saved image), the fastest speed indicated is 4X, and the option to change that is 'GREYED Out'

To be frank, don't burn faster than 8X speed anyhow. Sure it can be done on top notch media, but you introduce the chance of errors into the equation. Try ImgBurn...it's free and some say better than what you have. As for the greyed out selection box, nero reads the optimum speeds for that drive (i think) so maybe you could update the firmware on it? I can't say for sure it'll cure your woes, but it can't hurt.
