I have looked around with little luck...

I am looking for a good dvd authoring program. I am looking for something that is pretty compatable with Photoshop (as I do a lot of work with that) My main concern is to be able to do a rollover type image, the button looks one way and then the cursor is over it it changes to something else. I would hope I could do this with layers in Photoshop and then import it. Also in reading I have read something about only being able to use 4 colors for highlight buttons (not sure what that is really talking about). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What about Sonic DVDit or Sonic Scenarist? Has anyone used either of these? I am looking for a profession "custom" look

DVDit is pretty basic, but it's ok and does the job for the most part. Makes rather awful looking menus, so I don't use that part of it. It converts the audio to linear PCM regardless which is rather time-consuming and annoying. The PE edition handles AC3 audio, the LE version doesn't. So be warned if choosing the LE because all of your DVDs end up with PCM audio.

Scenarist is BIG $$$... but you can make very sexy menus with it and I believe it does just about everything else.

I also hear good reports of ReelDVD. Never tried it tho.
