I am hoping for some help that my call in help tech. hasn't been able to do yet. EVGA 650i board phoenix bios, sata2 WD drive, just got the board installed w/ a core duo e6600. main ATX case button powers on, led's on board on, samsung cd/dvd light powers on opens/closes led blinks when disc inserted, WD 2500 powers up, i put in a working fx 5200 pci, waiting to get a pci-x 8800 gts next, reset button works, all fans on....it all is working other than......no video/ no bios blue screen...and seems to not see keyboard. This keyboard blinks when my other computer powers on and works fine with it.....any possibles/ideas??????? thanks...
disconnect all cables to drives. remove all cards except videocard, reseat that card. reseat the ram but if have more then 1 stick of ram then try 1 at a time. clear the cmos according to the motherboard manual as have found that to work on occassion to kickstart a stubborn pc. is both power connectors from psu attached to the motherboard?

I'm also interested, it could prove useful for future reference, I'm currently betting it was the RAM sticks.
Oh, and for reference, 0Nobody0, PCI express is abbreviated PCIe, not PCI-X. PCI-X is something different.
Hmm, perhaps that happens more often than I thought...
My board's a 650i chipset, and it wouldn't recognise RAM a certain way round, that was the problem I had.
