Bizrre!Backedup Gears of War perfect but NOTHING else???

Hi,I have very recently started backing up my 360 games using xbc and samsung drive with kreon 8.1.I can do a backup of gears of war but ive tried about 7 other games and they either complete the burn in my philips rewriter or they fail mid way.and yet to test different theories along the way i have redun the successful Gears of War many times!Im really fed up with all this as ive probably wasted 20 quid on dl mediaI can burn everything else including Ps2 game sperfectly so why such randomness???
Its a good job i like gears of war,lol!

What media are you burning to and at what speed? Have you not been able to make any other successful backups apart from gears?
