God bless pirates. Some people download 360 games, ps games, wii games, and play them for free. What do I care, it's none of my buisness. I just recently traded in almost 400 games I purchased. The only way it gets to me that people "back up" games is when they brag about one thing or another. Again thanks for the help. Please stop being so closed minded, there's a whole world out there full of murders, rapists, and little kids stealing 5 cent bubble gum.

did I ever say I condone that? Do not put words in my mouth. And since you pretty much asked for my opinion, even if they do rent, atleast they are putting some money out for the product, even if it's very little. The more people rent, the more movie stores will stock and ultimately the studios still see increased sales. understand?

Oh no, playing it smart. As a tennager up to lower 20's I spent money like it was nothing. Now I have quite the debt problem, and learned my lesson believe me. My girl and I will be saving up for about a year and see what we can do. I think we'll get legally married, then have a ceromony later. Everyone I meet loves me, unless there's jealousy involved. Gotten along with all my family, co-workers, bosses, friends. And I am very self-motivated. I've got no fear of failure. Thanks for your blessing!

i have actually spoken to the mpaa and have asked them if they go after people who spend money on dvds then back them up. The MPAA says they are only after people that download movies, and upload/sell them illegally. The only reason they are shutting down dvd ripping software is because of pirates, that is why the dmca exists, hollywood is not after honest consumers

A sad side note, she was a store manager for Gateway Computers during the internet boom, many of her current customers are refinancing debt they ran up while trying to make a million of internet stock trading. Sorry to digress from the original topic, but pirates really don't seem to grasp reality very well. Much like a junebug hovering 4 feet over a highway, reality will squish them soon enough. That's great. Hey your in debt pay for a program!!! Even after that whole $15 credit speech you gave. Priceless. No I actually have someone helping me pay off all my debt and car, and I can pay back interest free. Still $40k will take many payment ;) And I don't conform via blatant attacks, you have to talk me into it maturely. I think I'm the only one being civil, and I'm the "pirate". Again, priceless.
