Then I installed Peerguardian 2. Then I got rid of windows firewall, and installed comodo firewall.
now, the day after I installed both programs, my cpu is up to 100% all the time. something called SYSTEM is using it all up...basically whenever I try to do anything.
And eMule no longer has High-ID. And I get several errors in eMule:
- Error: Invalid part.met file version! (011.part.met => )
- UPnP failed to setup port forwardings, please foward those ports manually if necessary!
- Error Em Server No.1 (193.138.230.251:4242) - Your IP is part of ipfilter.dat file
Lastly, pg2 is blocking of alot of emule related stuff, and it all sounds dangerous to me im not sure what I should allow:
- fake emule servers (lots of these)
- Time Warner Telecom
- Sprint - Possible MediaSentry
- Elemi Internet Ltd
- Office of the president of the Republic of Lithuania (wtf???)
- OTEnet|anti-p2p - p2p abusers
- Verestar
- MediaDefender
- Net2EZ
- FDC Servers.net
- Chinanet network
- Route for Doubleclick
Alot of these things have destination ports of 4660 and 4670, and I think those are the ones im trying to allow.
any help?
EDIT - UPDATE: If I disable COMODO firewall, everything works fine. CPU works fine and emule has HIGH ID.... but pg2 still doesn't let me use several emule servers like Donkey Server No. 2.
