Is a Geforce 8400M GS with 128video memory sufficient to play Crysis at medium settings, if not what about 8600M GT?

Thanks much

no and no. You will need a 8800, which arent available in laptops. A 7950 is better than a 8600. Lets put it that way.

you cant switch laptop cards... You would have to buy a new laptop if you wanted a better card.

you might want to look into a voodoo/alienware, if that is out of your price range check out what sager and prostar are offering, chances are you will get the same pc a few thousand less then voodoo/alienware

voodoo
alienware

btw i have quad 7950 gx2's in my tower, they get as hot as he** it self.

i have 2 alienware m7700 D900T's i have always cleaned the fans out and have had good luck with both of them, no failures to date. alot of people say alienware breakes easy, that is only half true, alot of it is how you care for it(keeping the fans clean ect.). my old rig is a voodoo envy m:350, (based off the compal cl-5x chassis) it was worth every cent.

good luck finding a laptop.
