Corrupted saves on R4?

Hi, I got a slight problem with my R4. My newer backups(rune factory,children of mana) got the bad habit of getting their save files corrupted, this is what happens:

I play the games for a few days, saves and loads with no problem and then one day when I have saved in children of mana, the game said "file corrupted, will be deleted" or something along those words. I tried to save a few times in all saveslots but nothing helped, the savefile were gone. I figured that it only did that because the firmware wasn't updated, so I updated it (1.11).
Rune factory: Played it for about 3 days, 10saves and loads perhaps? And when Im supposed to load the game once more it happen again, save file corrupted will be deleted...

So now I ask you lot, who most likely know these things better than me. Is this a common error, I guess not since I havn't found any similar cases on the web. And anyway, what can be done to prevent this from happening again?
