Locked to provider - O2

Thanks very much SalMal, I've the phone in the nokia store getting a firware upgrade at the moment, so I'll try that tomorrow.

Hi SalMal, I just tried the above twice and my phone said code error.
I have checked that it is lock to O2 Ireland and that the above imei number is correct. I was very carefull the second time to type in the code you gave me, however no luck, could it be anything else?
I removed the sim, turned on phone and put in the code. I don't think I did anything wrong.
Please advise me

If your phone locked to O2-Ireland,Salmals code is correct.
If didnt work,its possible,your phone locked to other provider.
Pleas write product code(under accu).

It is Defo O2, I just got the phone from my brother who had the box which I dumped yesterday, when I turn the phone on without the sim card and turn it off again the O2 logo says goodbye to me.and the imei number is defo correct (just checked it with a magnifying glass, sad I know) what is the accu you mentioned?
