As stated in title, it's a Nokia 1600.

IMEI: 352279/01/349795/7
Carrier: Brasil Telecom
Country: Brazil

I downloaded a free unlocker, but it didn't have the carrier, Brasil Telecom, and I didn't want to risk it since it can lock permanently.

I forgot to mention, the program I downloaded also has listed just about every phone under the sun including the 1610, but NOT the 1600. Anyone know of something else I may classify it as so it'll work? Don't forget, the Brasil Telecom deal is still a problem.

The password appeared to unlock the phone fine. The phone reads my T-Mobile sim card (meaning I can store numbers now) but I don't get any signal and haven't been able to make any calls, despite the phone being unlocked.

Anyone know why this may be?
