If you don't know the answer whats with the smart ass replies?
If I am going to put a shortcut on my desktop I want to go directly to the ap I want to use.
Lots of programs use command line and switches which can take you directly to the ap you want to use.
Cheers

that's all i could find.
You are the best
Thanks for the effort Ripper. You found more on your search than I did. I Should have searched with "command line" included, I guess.
For those wanting a direct shortcut to adding data files, create a desktop shortcut and use the following path (making changes for drive/directory)
DVD data discs
"C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero\nero.exe" /w /Media:DVD /New:ISODisc
CD data discs
"C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero\nero.exe" /w /New:ISODisc

As Ripper has displayed, A simple google search solved the problem.

Actually no it didn't it just pointed me in another direction so that by following other leads from there I was able I thought with a little trial and error to solve the problem but actually I didn't. The shortcut I posted is for CD data discs use not DVD. I have sorted out the shortcuts and will post the one that works for DVD data discs as an edit to my post.
Cheers

i'm with you, Goldberry - some just haveta be a smartass instead of just accepting that everyone else isn't exactly like them.
i, too, would like a shortcut straight to the app i plan on using most often (i.e. Nero Express). odd, isn't it...?

Sorry, who are you and who asked for your opinion?
If you want a shortcut, use those links to work it out yourself, or use the help Goldberry posted after he found his answer.
