Putting a Movie thats on 2 discs into one file on my harddrive

I have a couple movies i have backed up using xcopy and other backup programs

The originals are toast and i would like to rip my backup movie to my hard drive so I have an extra copy in case the backup dies.

The xcopy and other backup is on two discs (one movie split on two discs so there would be no compression)

Does anyone know how i can make the two discs into one file on my hard drive?

just copy the disks to one folder on your hd

I did try that - the problem is the discs contain the same file names (e.g. the first half of the movie is the same file name as the second half of the movie on the second disc)

just change the name of the movie of each file like movie one movie two
