I've tried two codes so far by generating codes using http://unlock.nokiafree.org/dct4.php namely

#pw+444447164111331+1# with GEN = Original
#pw+214475043256473+7# with GEN = ASIC 6

but reckoned I should ask someone who knows before hitting the 5 time limit. I wasn't sure if my phone was 6230 or 6230i before from comparing images and particularly the camera diff I'm sure its just a 6230.

I presume I should be removing the sim when doing this although the phone does prompt for a restriction code when I put my Meteor network sim in and turn it on.
