Having big problems trying to install Nero?!

Can someone help me,surely youve heard of the nero burning program which allows you to burn stuff to discs well i cant get it installed because i dont understand what it means when it says "company name" and "serial number"what am i supposed to type in im seriously in need of some help here!?

Company name can be left blank.
The serial # part you'll need to input the serial # here. If you bought Nero from their website you should have received an email with the serial.
If you bought it in store or the install cd came with a new drive the serial is usually on the back of the paper sleeve the disc is in.

binkie i downloaded it not buy it i wanna install it but before i can i need to insert the serial number could you plz find out and send it to my forum please?

Where are you downloading it from? The trial should have this filled in already that I remember.

No I don't have the serial # - more than likely it's not the same for every trial version.
The reason yours doesn't have one is probably cause this is an older version of Nero - Nero 6 - so there are no more trials for it.
The link I gave above is for Nero's latest - 7.10.1.0

where could i find the serial number in the link you sent me,where can i find it,its a free trial version did you know that,should i just leave the company name blank and so where will the serial number be found for the download link of latest edition of nero?

You should just be able to install it - no need to worry about the serial # or company name. It will either already be inserted or not needed.
The link (from Nero's website)is the active free trial version they have right now.

well i downloaded the nero version from the link you sent to me and i installed it and after reaching the part where it says serial number,user name & organization there appeared a serial number already automaticaly on it so i clicked next but a small message saying the serial number had expired so now what do i do.

Have you ever had Nero 7 installed on this pc before? That's the only reason I can think of on why it would come up expired.
They only allow 1 free trial period.

no i havent bought the nero software ever with the disc and stuff ,im just trying to download it not buy it online because it costs too much,im think you mean have i actually bought the actual nero for money no i have not if thats what you mean i only haveb tryed downloading it,after it said it has expired it says you should have the numbers on the back of the sheet but i do not own the actual in-reality thingy-jingy do you how to help me any further because i really want to install it.

Have you ever had Nero installed before like a trial version - didn't really mean if you've ever bought it before. If you have that would be why the trial is saying expired.

Sounds like you're not going to put up the money to buy Nero and are looking around for a free way to use the program. There are free trials as Binkie has suggested. But if you have used the trial up that's it, pay for it like all the rest of us. It's against forum rules to give out hacked serial numbers. We all know our own particular (paid for) serial numbers and noone with half a mind is going to give you theirs. If one did then when you loaded that same serial number in your pc, it could cause the original owner's Nero to stop working. You can get Nero on sale and with rebates in the $50 range, the cost of 3 movies. Bite the bullet.
