hi all,

i am VERY new to afterdawn.com. I am also VERY new to burning DVD's. I am having problems with DVD 43, error message reading:
access violation at address 0041426b in module 'DVD43_tray.exe'.Read of address 00000008.
I have found this on the forum, some people are saying DVD43 is not good.
I have seen on the forum talks about ANYDVD... i got the website BUT does anyone know how we can get this for free as it is only a 21 day trial program.
THanks guys, look forward to hearing from anyone.

I dont think that dvd43 is worth much as i believe it has not been updated for a couple of years, yes anydvd cost money, but it is the best out there in my opinion, try the trial version for 21 days, if you dont like it try somthing else althouth i dont know what you would use, its well worth the dough, just my idea.

I would get rid of 43 and download DVDFab HD Decrypter (Freeware)

http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm

Many say that ANYDVD is worth the Cost and at times you can get 10 bucks off the price just by typing afterdawn into the code box.

Wow,
Thanks for the feedback peoples. I really appreciate it. I have now tested out AnyDVD.... Seems to work great. BUT there is still one dvd movie that it wont copy for some reason.

Berryone, I think i may give it a go. Is this DVDFab any good tho. Which is better Any DVD or DVD Fab. I mean is it worth me buying ANY DVD or is DVD Fab just as good.

By the way guys, I noticed in DVD43 you can choose to copy less info, such as other languages, 2.0 channel sound etc, to make the DVD smaller so that it all fits onto a 4.7 DVD. BUT AnyDVD does not seem to be able to chose. its just a full copy of the DVD... Is this the way it should be.

Thanks.

anydvd is not a burner program it is only a prog to erase copy protection and region codes, you ned a burnere to copy the dvd after anydvd has done its thing, i use dvdclon2, but the sugestion for dvdfab is good hoever use dvdfab hd decrypter, this is also a free download. it works great, after awhile you will find it is best to have naybe two or three different burners to take vcare of all situations, thats what i do . i hope this helps

Hi Guys,
I have taken a bit of advice from everyone. Now I have got DVD Shrink, Got CloneDVD2 Trail, Got AnyDVD Trial and that seems to cover me for all DVD's so far.
Now I have to say AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 are just sensational. I will probably buy them at the end of the trail period BUT does anyone know a way to get a discount or even how to get a registration key for both for free. I know, sound like a tight ass BUT i thought i should try saving myself at least $90US all up. I am in Sydney AUSTRALIA so thats gonna be even more $$$ again.

By the way, does anyone know what program i can download so that i am able to download movies that have not been released in Australia yet. E.g I have limewire for music. So i gather their must be something for movies and TV series. And is this much different from downloadmusic.

Thanks.

You aren't going to get any advice on Trying to get ANYDVD without Buying it, so after the trial period you MUST buy buy it or lose it.

I think even asking that question is against forum rules.

Every now and then sly gives a discount to afterdawn members.
All you have to do is type afterdawn into a promo code box. I think it's a $10 (US) discount for each product you purchase.

DFAB HD is a very good program. It's Free and updates often.
