Belkin Wireless router problems

Ok, so heres my story.

I have a belkin wireless G router and I have installed the cd and connected the cables properly and etc. but the internet only works for a second. And on the CD it configured the internet and etc. and said everything was fine.

The Modem, power, wireless, and PC1 lights are on but the internet light is off. Everything works, but the internet.

Any1 kno whats wrong?

Did you get the right router?
i have know a lot of people buying a phone line (bt,orange,tiscalli) router insted of a cable router (virgin media)

oh wow, thats insane. Yeah, I did get the right router. and I found the (temporary) solution to the problem. I logged onto the settings page and changed the channel from 'auto' to '11' (why? because underneath it said "NOW USING CHANNEL 11" so I went along) and this internet was working fine and My wireless internet was also. So I was playing GunZ online when suddenly all the players started lagging. The program closed and My wireless internet didnt work. I went downstairs and the internet worked just fine. I logged onto the settings page and (stupid me) changed the router to an Access Point Only. and now I cant egven reinstall the router. I need to reinstall it because now the internet dosent work AT ALL when its in. PLEASE HELP!!!

So basically Im asking if anyone knows if:

-Theres a way to uninstall the router

-Theres a way to undo the "set router as access point" option
