I wanted to ask a everyone if anyone had problems ripping DVD's using a SATA DVD drive. I am in the process of purchasing a new DVD Burner to rip and burn.

I did some research and many people complained it did not work well. These threads was a while ago.

you could also get yourself a sata harddrive, to process the files that are dumped on your hard drive a bit faster.
