ive been useing nero startsmart for quiet a few months now and only recently i havent been able to burn any dvd media files to dvd it gets as far as adding the files to be burned but then closes can any1 please help me ive tried everythin

What all have you tried?

If you haven't already try doing a clean install of Nero.
Uninstall Nero - run the clean tool for the version you have. Here's a link for them - clean tools.

Reboot. Now run a registry cleaner. Here's a good free one if needed - ccleaner. Use the issues and cleaner options.

Reinstall Nero - install the latest version - you can find the latest version of Nero 6 and Nero 7 to install at Nero's website.
