I apologize if this question has been asked. I tried to do a search but nothing was coming up.
I am using Xilisoft DVD Ripper Platinum. There are some DVDs I can rip without problem, meaning the whole file. However, using for example one I am attempting right now. I recorded TV shows onto my DVD recorder, burned them onto a disk and am now trying to rip that disk onto my computer. The shows are 1 hour each, but the ripper is only completing about 25 minutes of them. It has done this before but other times it completes the whole file.
Does anyone know what I am talking about and know what I can do about it?

You are saying that when you try and rip (copy) the contents of a DVD disk to a folder on your PC, that the software indicates that it has completed, yet only part of the disk contents are in the folder?
Yes....for example the disk has 2- 30 minute programs. When I check the original, they are in their entirety. When I load up the DVD to rip it, it indicates the length being 59 minutes long, but when the rip is completed I only get 23 minutes....basically only one program, but not even all of it.
