I want to know if the DV port on this dvd recorder (w/built-in 120 gb hard drive) can be used for transferring a ripped dvd movie from the "pc hard drive" to the "hard drive on the DMR-E100HS" and then burned to dvd+/-r since I do not have a dvd burner installed on my pc(p3, 800mhz, 120gb WD w/8mb cache, xp-home). Can this be done or should I return the stand-alone and buy one of the sony or pioneer multi-drives or is there yet another solution ?!? I have been searching for this information on this and other sites, but I just can't seem to find anything. If someone can give me some help or send me in the right direction, that would be great! Thanks for any and all advice!
