if the iPhone can be unlocked easily to the public is it possible to put a tmobile sim card in it that doesnt have the internet service so u can use the iPhone as a Phone and iPod and use the internet with the wifi?

Yes, it is. iPhone has been completely hacked. There may be a easy to use 'iPhone-unlock-toolkit" out, I think.

ok thanks guys. i just wanted to know this because i wouldn't use the internet that much, and the plan is kind of expensive. I'll wait some time until they clear up the unlocking thing. Anyone know how to unlock it easily?

There was an article on Yahoo! about a week ago about this guy who unlocked the Iphone and sold the program for some stupid amount of money. I think it was someone in Britain so the phone could be used in Europe

Iphonesimsfree is a SCAM. Here are the details:

First i received the email saying that please send th epayment in accordance wit hthe proforma invoice. And the invoice gave the bank details where they wanted the money to be wired:

This is a FULL BLOWN SCAM and i will be reporting it to all the internet scam monitoring agencies (CIA, FBI, etc...) Iam pretty much sure that iam not the only one getting scammed here and i am pretty much sure in the coming months or years they will get the scammer(s) apprehended.

iam not looking for my money, just a warning that DO NOT SEND THE WIRE.
