my friend at work just bought a dx-2 burner and is getting his 8mm tapes to dvd's. He wants to make chapters at certain intervals (in spots where it is actually considered a different chapter in teh video) but he also wants to be able to hit the skip track button and have a subchapter every 3 minutes (for easier browsing when showing freinds his video

so basically he wants to have a dvd menu with the thumbnails of teh chapters that are manually set, and have sub-chapters every 3 minutes that dont show the thumbnails, but he can still hit the skip track button to skip 3 minutes ahead each time

does anyone have any suggestions or an idea as to how to do this?

dx-2 rips his 8mm vids to mpeg2 and it came with software called showbiz, and he says adding manual chapters with shobiz is the last thing the program does b4 burning. I was thinkin of using one program to add in a chapter every 3 minutes and tehn using shobiz to add in the chapters where he wants to. My concerns are will showbiz honor the 3 minute scenes in teh dvd and add in the chapters as he wants it. I know it confusing but hes an obsessive guy and this is what he wants im just tryin to help him out
