when i burn my DVD my PC stucks.Plz help

i use convertxtoDVD program everthing is ok untill i start to burn my dvd.
in 20% or 60% or more my screan stucks my mouse dont move and my dvd when i restart is half burnt.
samtimes (1/5 DVD) i cann writet but most of time i lose my dvd:(

Plz guys any 1 knows what the problem is?

more memory might help.
not using the computer to Surf the net While burning a dvd.

Proquine---If you have Windows, Click Start>Control Panel>System> Then system properties windows should pop up. Look on the general tab and let us know your system version (windows xp/vista/year) and computer info (Processor type/speed/memory).
