Morning all

Hope someone can help i've been putting up with slow burning speeds for about a month now.. I bought a HP Pavilion PC off a mate a little while back with a Litescribe DVD Writer and in the beginning i was burning a full DVD in about the usual 15-20 mins but about a month ago for some reason its now taking between an hour an a half to 2 hrs to burn..

Is this a software or hardware problem? The PC itself is not running any slower performing other tasks but does slow right down when burning which it never did before either..

All help and ideas appreciated

Went through it all and ma DMA is already enabled on both channels.. any other ideas??

Just to add its like the disk spins up while its burning to it then stops for ages then spins up again.. while its spinning up the computer practically freezes up
