burning audio cd's from itunes w/ vista

hello all!

i have a dell inspiron 530 w/ vista ultimate and cannot get itunes to burn an audio cd.

the burn list shows that the cd is burning, but it only gets so many songs burned before the countdown timer starts counting back up.

at this point the burn process cannot be stopped and the disc cannot be ejected. i actually have to do a manual eject with a paperclip to get the cd out.

any suggestions or solutions are greatly appreciated. thanks!!!
