need some help buying a usb capture device...dont want a pci card [all full] so could i get some feedback and reviews please/
i don twant to pay more than 120 dollars for it so...

The way I see it, if there's even one honest 5-star review on there that goes into detail, the product's worth buying, the only things to consider are the reliability.

ok maybe i should go into a bit more detail...sometime in the near future i have to transfer some vhs to dvd [for friend] and yeah all my pci are full because i need all the pci cards i have and cannot remove even one...so anyway would wintv be ok for that, and does it come with a heck of alot of software, that starts with your machine not that i couldn't manually remove them, but could i get some details please, some user experiances etc...maybe now that i have mentioned the vhs conversion, i will get another recomendation/

This might not be the answer you're looking for but you can probably get a VHS / DVD recorder combo for not much more than that $120 budget. USB attached TV tuners never usually have as good a picture as doing it the right way.

so what you are saying is that i could put in a tape, and then record directly to dvd/ are you sure it allows tape to dvd recording/
sounds good,ill look into it...i really dont want one in my pc, so that sounds like a good option for me...

...and 120 bucks is not set in stone...maybe up to like 150...or a bit more...

That's right, a lot of people have updated all their old VHS tapes onto DVDs using that method.
