ReMpeg problems!!

I am having problems with Re-Mpeg. I live in Region 2 land so when I try to rip a Region 1 disc Smartripper and DVDdecrypter both have some problems. The usually get there! When I play the ripped files they work 100%. IFOedit is happy to play with them, but when I run them through ReMpeg they come out very blocky and they run fast then slow. I read some other posts about it but they seem not to help me. Ocean's Eleven causes me the most problems with ReMpeg and Enemy at the Gate won't even rip!!

I see that Tmpg has settings for NTSC etc, but not with Rempeg!! I don't like using Tmpg cause it is a long process to get the AC3 back!!

Any ideas would be great. I use a pioneer A04 set to region2 (have not found a patch yet)

hi there i got oceans eleven to encode o.k by changing the settings from prediction down to othogonal and it worked for this disc but not any other regio 1 discs. I need help as well with this one also with rempeg i seem to get jittery frames after encoding a perfectly good film prior to encoding when i play it back in ifoedit it is jittery so it isn't the media i'm burning it to it is rempeg, (yes i'm playing the m2v file prior to demuxing and after with the same result ) hope we can silve this one p.s. Drd how about different sections of the forum for different software problems this would help us on our searches for problem fixes. Regards.
