What are your experiences with this program? Can it take the place of DVD Decrypter and DVD2ONE 2 in one shot? Do you still get high quality backups? Would you still have to burn with Nero or another program? Thanks.

Up until recently I used AnyDVD with Shrink and Imgburn. Then I tried
DVDFabDecrypter with Shrink and Imgburn. DVDFabDecrypter updates
their software with amazing speed. It takes longer to go through
the complete burn process with Decrypter because it is an extra
step. I've been really impressed with the quality of the discs I've
been getting using Decrypter. At this point I will keep both on
my computer. The advantage Decrypter has to offer is that it is
free.
I have Nero also, but almost never use it for a movie. Imgburn
seems to be much simpler to use that Nero. It has never given me
a problem.

Yeah I'm using the demo version of DVDFab platinum. It works great. And it's good for certain newer movies that won't rip with other methods. Only problem I've seen is it wants to make the whole disc instead of movie only, meaning if I shrink it then it doesn't get the whole movie on the disc. It only works well, in my experience, if you want to make a full DVD backup, including menus and all that nonsense.

Open the file you have written to the Harddrive in Shrink. Then click
on reauthor (if you only want the movie). Move the title to the
left hand column and click on backup. You can also remove any extra
audio, etc before you click backup. You will get the entire movie
on the disc with no problems.
