OK, I KNOW THIS IS FOR RIPPING, BUT THIS IS A DRIVE PROBLEM TOO. I JUST DOWNLOADED THE DVD DECRYPTER AND CLONE DVD. I'VE BEEN USING IT ALOT. THE FIRST TIME I BURNED A LOT OF DVD'S AND MY HARD DRIVE WENT BAD. THIS TIME ON A DIFFERENT COMPUTER ALL OF A SUDDEN IT'S BURNING AND DECRYPTING VERY, VERY SLOWLY. IT WAS ONLY TAKING MAYBE 10, 15 MINUTES TO DECRYPT, NOW IT'S TAKING TWO HOURS AND EVEN MORE TO BURN. I WASN'T DOING THAT BEFORE I PUT THE PROGRAMS ON. I'VE DELETED EVERYTHING AND DEFRAGMENTED. I DON'T KNOW IF ITS GOING TO CRASH THIS HARD DRIVE AS WELL, ANYONE ELSE HAVING THIS PROBLEM?

P.S. I'M NEW TO ALL THIS SO IF YOU COULD BEAR WITH ME IF IN DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE SAYING, I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF YOU COULD TALK TO ME LIKE A TEN YEAR OLD :) THANKS

Then perhaps you should find the CAPS LOCK key and depress it so you don't come across as SHOUTING. You may have slipped into PIO mode. You should be in DMA mode.

your DVD burner and/or ROM slipped into PIO mode. You need to restore your DMA settings to your drives, here's how:

and here is another good read about PIO mode vs DMA:

Ok, I tried that and that didn't work. I uninstalled the driver also, and that didn't work. Do you have any other suggestions? Should I try to uninstall decrypter and clone dvd? I won't say this is computer is top notch, but it is fairly new, it is still under it's year warranty, but I don't own it.
