I've been using Ulead Movie Factory and have found it to be a great tool at producing simple DVDs of various bits and pieces. One of the main things I am doing is to capture DV footage via firewire and encode to DVD format. It seems to be alot quicker than TMPGEnc and the out is fine. The only problem is that I seem to get intermittenr lockups of my PC when encoding to Mpeg using the Ulead product. I've encoded many hours of stuff using TMPGenc on the same PC without problems. The PC is an AMD 1600+ with 1GB RAM. Any thoughts\suggestions?
