The Condemned really messing up on DVD Player

Be careful with the movie The Condemned. I exchanged the purchased
DVD 3 times and all 3 discs did this. If you watch all the previews,
The player goes from a green light to a red one-like it is shut off.
There is nothing on the TV Screen. The player will turn back on. It
will not open the drawer. It appears to be off, but if you put your
hand on the case you can still feel it spinning. The only solution
is to unplug the player for a few minutes, restart and open the
drawer before it starts playing. If you put the disc in and go straight to the root menu it will play the movie.
Thought this might be that particular player that was having trouble
with it, but tried on 4 different brand players and all did the
same thing.
Made a backup disc-movie only, and no problems with it.
