I tried the code below twice and got 'code error'. I had not entered the spaces in the code, and I entered
p by pressing * 3 times
w by pressing * 4 times
+ by pressing * 2 times (in pw+ and +7#)
Is that correct? Is there anything else I should check?
Remove Sim card, switch on the Phone
1 - Press #
2 - Press * three times to write p
3 - Press * four times to write w
4 - Press * twice to write +
5 - Enter the 15 digit code provided WITHOUT SPACES
6 - Press * twice to write +
7 - Press 1
8 - Press #
Your phone should now be unlocked

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, it appears that I have used up my 5 tries, and the phone now says 'Not Allowed' when I enter the code. Anyway, it still works on the Tele2 network, so it is no big loss.
